My students are a wonderfully diverse bunch.

They range from complete beginners to seasoned pros, singer-songwriters to business executives, and seven-year-olds to seventy(plus)-year-olds. Their goals and dreams are completely unique, but they overwhelmingly have one thing in common: a desire for greater control and mastery of their voice. It's my absolute joy and privilege to help them with this.

Why am I telling you this? Well, what I also know (after years of study, practice, coaching and observation) is that there are real, Discovering the world of voice science, and particularly the work of Jo Estill, was revolutionary for me and my progress as a vocalist sky rocketed.

I'm passionate about sharing what I've learned with my students to help them build skillful, expressive and reliable voices

gain control of their own voices, cultivate powerful performance skills and build genuine confidence in their abilities.

The good news is, if it worked for me it can work for you too.

I know how scary and frustrating it can feel to not be able to trust your voice, and it's taken hard work, determination and expert coaching to overcome them. The good news is - if I can do it, so can my students. It's why I'm so passionate about what I do, and why I've spent thousands of hours learning how to help my students gain control of their own voices, cultivate powerful performance skills and build genuine confidence in their abilities.

The game-changer came when I discovered the work of Jo Estill I know how frustrating and genuinely scary it can be to stand on a stage not knowing whether your voice is going to turn up today. It's taken focused practice, determination and expert coaching to create a more skillful, expressive and reliable voice. The good news is - if I can make the tangible progress

I learned the power and vital importance of a voice that works skillfully, expressively and reliably. The experience deepened my understanding of how to use your voice and performance skills to wow, captivate and move an audience. And it equipped me with a rich knowledge of how the performing arts and music industries work and what it takes to exist and thrive in them.

However the learning curve that has had the most profound impact on my coaching has

I'll be honest though, singing hasn't always been easy for me. Like many of my students, I know how scary, frustrating and humiliating it can be when your voice cracks under pressure, performs underwhelmingly or (very publicly!) lets you down. I've battled with an array of vocal 'gremlins' that have taken hard work, determination and expert coaching to overcome. The good news is - if I can do it, so can my students. It's why I'm so passionate about what I do, and why I've spent thousands of hours learning how to help my students regain control of their own voices, cultivate powerful performance skills and build genuine confidence in their abilities.

I work with students in the comfort of their own homes, and my own.

Online lessons mean we can work together wherever you are in the world. I connect with clients using Zoom and Whatsapp and have modified and honed my approach to ensure virtual coaching is just as powerfully effective as in-person sessions. It's a convenient and user-friendly way to learn, and we both get to wear our slippers!

During normal circumstances, I also deliver in-person coaching at my place in Stockport, Greater Manchester (sessions are currently suspended due to Covid-19).

Additionally, I work with students in educational establishments throughout the North West, currently as an Associate Voice Tutor for the Musical Theatre course at Edge Hill University and with Performing Arts & Music students at The Manchester College.
